Siempre Contigo", Radio Moody Chicago transmitirá siete días a la semana en WMBI-1110 AM. Collin Lambert, vicepresidente de Moody Radio, afirma: "Existen aproximadamente dos millones de hispanos viviendo en Chicago y sin una radio cristiana basada en la Biblia sirviéndoles en su idioma. Creemos que esta estación y su programación van a satisfacer una necesidad importante de esta comunidad." El señor Lambert agrega: "Estamos entusiasmados por esta iniciativa y esperamos que nuestros oyentes se comuniquen con nosotros y nos digan cómo Moody les está apoyando." La comunidad hispana es el grupo étnico minoritario más numeroso y con más rápido crecimiento en la nación. En Chicago comprende el 26 por ciento de la población total. Radio Moody Chicago proveerá enseñanza bíblica sólida, ofrecerá cobertura sobre temas relevantes a esta comunidad y comunicará la esperanza de Jesucristo a través de música de inspiración con ritmos latinoamericanos y actuales. Elsa Mazon, gerente de programación en español, dice: "A través de este esfuerzo, Moody está recuperando su visión original de alcanzar a la comunidad hispana y también está expresando un renovado compromiso a servirles." Ella enfatiza: "Queremos brindar esperanza y ánimo a nuestros hermanos y hermanas de habla hispana y no hay un mejor tiempo que hoy mismo." Christian radio station launched in Spanish. Radio Moody Chicago Launches Feb. 6: WMBI-AM 1110 is the Only Spanish-Speaking Christian Radio Station in Chicago. CHICAGO, -- With the tagline, "Compartiendo Esperanza. Siempre Contigo." (Sharing Hope. With You Always.), Radio Moody Chicago will broadcast daily on WMBI-AM 1110. "There are approximately two million Hispanics living in Chicago and with no Spanish-speaking, Bible-based Christian radio station serving them, we believe this station and its programming will fill a significant need for this community," said Collin Lambert, vice president of Moody Radio. "We are excited about this initiative and look forward to hearing from listeners how Moody is ministering to them." The Hispanic community is the nation´s largest and fastest-growing minority group, making up 26 percent of the total population in Chicago. Radio Moody Chicago will provide concrete biblical teaching, address relevant issues affecting Hispanics and provide the hope of Jesus through inspirational music native to the Hispanic culture. "Through this effort Moody is recapturing its original vision for reaching the Hispanic community and expressing a renewed commitment to serve them," said Elsa Mazon, project manager for Radio Moody´s Programming. "We want to bring hope and encouragement to our Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters and there is no better time than right now." In addition to original Spanish-speaking programming, Radio Moody Chicago will utilize existing Moody Radio ministry partners with Spanish-based teaching such as Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah, Grace to You with Dr. John MacArthur and Insight for Living with Dr. Chuck Swindoll.
